Features:

1. High efficiency and low noise

     Hyponic reducer adopts hypoid gear design, which has the low noise of worm gear and the high efficiency of bevel gear. It is a rare and efficient low-noise reducer. Compared with the worm gear, the hypoid gear has less sliding friction, so its transmission efficiency is higher than that of the worm gear. On the other hand, the gear mesh of the spiral bevel gear is generally about 2 teeth, while the Hyponic hypoid gear has 2.5. The teeth are pinched so that they operate at a lower noise than the bevel gears. In addition, the Sumitomo reducer also independently developed a 3-dimensional analysis to further reduce noise.

2. HYPONIC has a longer service life than worm gearboxes
     HYPONIC's gears are made of SCM420H Chromium Molybdenum alloy steel and are jacketed carbonized, while the worm gears are made of brass and are not heat treated, so they are relatively "soft".

3. More convenient to install and use
     The new Hyponic reducer features a square mounting surface and four mounting bolt holes are also squared, eliminating the need to change the mounting hole position even when changing from horizontal to vertical.


     The mounting surface and the motor are relatively independent, and the size of the motor is smaller than the size of the gear box, which makes the space requirement of HYPONIC easier to design and install, and the design and installation are more convenient.

     Due to the grease lubrication method, the installation is not limited by the installation direction, and various installation methods such as foot, flange and shaft installation are provided.
     The output shaft of HYPONIC reducer can be hollow shaft, left (right) output shaft and double output shaft for customers to choose.

4. Integrated cabinet design, more compact structure and more installation space
    Compared to worm gears, the HYPONIC with the same output power is smaller and lighter. The integrated cabinet design makes the machine more leak-tight. Its standard Hyponic products are IP55 rated for use in a wide range of applications including food processors, while IP56 grades are more suitable for regular washing and Dust-proof machinery.
    We can also add food grade grease according to customer needs to ensure the safe operation of the food production line.

5. Aluminum alloy case for better heat dissipation
    The HYPONIC reducer is designed with an aluminum alloy case, which has better heat dissipation than the cast iron case and does not require a cooling fan.

6. Grease lubrication design, no maintenance required
    HYPONIC's grease-lubricated and integrated cabinet design provides better sealing and maintenance-free operation.

7. Various combinations of gearbox and motor can be realized
    We not only provide HYPONIC products with ordinary three-phase motors, but also HYPONIC products with single-phase motors, variable-frequency motors, etc., and we also introduce the RNYX series that can be used with servo motors.
    In addition, HYPONIC (15w-90w) products can also be used with our ASTERO® motors to achieve orthogonal shaft operation of low power reducers.
    For the high-speed ratio HYPONIC model, there is no need to consider reducing the torque use, so that the motor power can be efficiently utilized to meet the customer's design requirements for high-speed ratio and high output torque.
